Washington football team changing it's racist name?

In honor of our President:

The Washington Bonespurs

I used to think of team names being a reference to strength, fearceness.

All these years, have you guys watching pro football every Sunday cringed, shed a tear, got your panties in a wad when the Redskins played?  I'm guessing not.

Same for the Braves?

The PC crowd has gone amok. Much ado about nothing.

And Amos and Andy were soooo funny!

As usual the liberals can't explain the above. What about the Saints, Padres, Gaels to name a few others.

Names are not offensive. Nicknames are not offensive. Slurs are offensive.

I can't believe anyone needed that explained to them. I mean other than tom.

Candy, the issue isn't football fans. Imagine a world where white people were the minority after being mostly wiped out in a forced relocation by the new majority.  How would you feel about a sports team named after a slur of your race where the fans chanted racial stereotypes about people like you at every game?

Why not the Seattle Slant Eyes or the Washington Wetbacks?  Maybe we could throw in some homophobia for good measure with the San Fanscio Fudge Packers. Each of those examples would be as valid as the Redskins and the majority of (white) people probably wouldn't get their panties in a wad over any of those names or chanting stereotypes at their games.

Nascar fans still want confederate flags.  Sometimes the people in charge have to make decisions to move the needle forward despite the unpopularity of the decision. That is what real leaders do.

Since "the above" is bullshit, there's no way anyone could explain it.

And "Saints," "Padres," and "Gaels" are not pejorative terms used to describe a race. "Redskins" is.

See the difference, Tom? Of course you don't. Moron.

I didn't ask about Amos and Andy.  I asked about the Braves.

Candy, pardon this interruption by me, but if you notice, whenever you should post anything that does not agree with the liars who post here, they will divert or change the subject. Liars can never provide proof, they just keep lying while insulting you - it is all they got.
