Biden’s drug price negotiations save taxpayers 6 billion annually….

and 1.5 billion in out of pocket expenses.   And this is just round 1.

so let's review the parties' records on Medicare drugs....

1).  George Bush gave Medicare free drugs and added the total cost to the deficit.    He also made it illegal to negotiate those drug prices or allow Americans to buy drugs at a cheaper price from Canada.    Republicans all cheeered.

2).  Obama paid for Bush's Medicare drugs so they weren't going on the deficit.    Republicans shit their pants.

3).  Trump talked a lot about cutting drug prices but did nothing.   Republicans cheered.

4). Biden cut Medicare drug prices saving taxpayers billions...and he has released the ban on buying cheaper drugs from Canada.   And Republicans shit their pants.

People who say neither party looks out for the little guy don't know basic, easily verified history.    

The year long negotiation process will yield savings of $6 billion in 2026 from net prices paid by Medicare, according to US Health Secretary Xavier Becerra.

This is an esimate by a democrat toady for the year 2026.  I thought the savings were already supposed to happen
