We're # 128 ! ! !

USA !  USA !  USA !

The just-released   Global Peace Index   ranks the United States of America # 128 for peacefullness out of 163 countries, . . . snuggled between South Africa and Saudi Arabia.

Why, . . . heckfire !   Honduras and Guatemala rank higher than the USA; them illegal immigrants are going the wrong way.

# 1 is Iceland, . . . and #163 is Afghanistan.

Well, the USA was birthed in warfare.  Remember the American Revolution? And all the officially named wars within that war?  The Civil War.  The Spanish-American War.   Remember the Alamo?  The War of 1812?   Lots of wars on our soil.   I haven't yet followed the link to see how "peacefulness" was determined.  Are all the wars outside of the US in which US troops participated part of the formula?   If that were the case, we'd have to be closer to the bottom of that index.

We are 6th!    canadian flag emoticon

My sister lives in Canada, I've visited Canada twice, and I have to say I agree with Canada's peacefulness rating.  Might even be 5th.  Love Canada.
