No proof to that statement. and Medicaid is not being cut; what is happening is that the rate of increase in Medicaid spending is slowed.

All those people who claimed fake asylum are ineligible.  Isn't it amazing that nobody needs asylum anymore!

Georgia already has work requirements for Medicaid.

I've read the entirety of the text of the Big Turd Bill. It's public record. I can't help Tom if he doesn't want to bother. Too many big words in there for him anyway.

Eligibility, under the Turd Bill, would be vastly more complicated than Tom states. And I reiterate the MONTHLY review requirement in the bill.

Stupid Tom is so dense, he thinks you can strip an agency of 20% of its funding and staffing won't be affected.

"The rate of growth being slowed" IS INDEED a spending cut. The number of Medicaid enrollees will no longer increase as the population increases. With Democrats in charge, spending on Medicare and Medicaid would naturally increase as the population both grows and ages. MAGA wants to cut that down. This equates to a 20% PER CAPITA spending reduction --and a corresponding reduction in services.

The problems experienced when Obamacare was introduced were because of the bureaucratic requirements added to the bill to placate Republicans. Democrats wanted to make it easy to enroll. Republicans wanted to make it difficult.

By the midterms, Trump will be saying he didnt know anything about the Medicaid cuts and he'll be throwing Mike Johnson and John Thune under the bus in the same way he did Michael Cohen and Mike Pence.

It's going to be a much large-scale disaster than that, as the overall economy goes into the crapper. Trump takes only credit, never blame, so he'll blame Joe Biden or SOOOOOOCIALISM or something when everything goes south.

My question is what will happen with MAGAs up for reelection in 2026. Will they try to disallow the Big Stinky Bill they voted for ("I had no choice")? Or will they stay aboard the sinking ship? We know what happens to Republican apostates.

I'm now hoping that the crash is so monumental, it will wake up even the low-IQ MAGAs. "Hey, Clem, he lied to us!!!"

It's just a pity that America's stupid people have dragged us with them to disaster. We need an intelligence requirement for voters.
