Doing my ongoing comparisons, which are facilitated by my being able to review past purchases in the WalMart and Fred Meyer apps, I've noticed that some types of items have skyrocketed in price, while other types haven't.

In particular, prices have zoomed skyward on:

Coffee

Fresh fruit

Salsa and hot sauce (drastically!)

Meat

Eggs

Rice and flour

While prices have remained relatively stable on:

Baked goods

Prepackaged meals

Dairy products

Canned goods

Snack foods

Much of this can be explained by the influence that Turdiffs have had on the cost of imported goods. But I was wondering if there are regional variations. I'm in the Pacific Northwest. Are the patterns I've observed prevalent elsewhere as well? Or is some stuff cheaper or more expensive for you in your part of the country than in mine?
