What is a Just Punishment?

Fuck you.

The other big problem I have with capital punishment is the fact that several people who have been executed have later been proven innocent.

If you're rich, you'll never receive the death penalty. If you're white, you'll never receive the death penalty unless you're a mass murderer, and usually not even then. If you are tried in a red state, you are eleven times more likely to receive the death penalty than if you are tried in a blue state.

And even worse--Trump killed half a million Americans with his bungled response to covid and he wasn't even prosecuted for it.
