They don't really care if he remains Speaker or not.

The Dems aren't supporting him, because of his role in the insurrection and his fervently expressed Trump-love. But the RepubliQ may put up a real hyperpartisan MAGA nutcase this time.

But polls indicate that the Burn it All Down Caucus is wildly popular with their consituents, and they heartilily approve of both this move and the shutdown campaign. There is a loudly vocal minority that hates democracy, loves chaos, hates women (even though many of them are female, at least from a medical standpoint), loves guns, hates nonwhite people, and loves fat fucks with orange hair.
How many Republican voters are going to throw up their hands in disgust and switch to voting Democratic? None. How many are going to stop voting for the fuckfaces responsible for this continuing shitshow? None.
So we have no remedy other than waiting for them to slowly die off, which, fortunately, they are doing.
