What They Say About Climate Change

How true ... May be an image of 1 person and text that says 'MichaelSeifert Michael Seifert @realmichaelseit It's amazing that our government will tell you with a straight face that they can't stop a regional fire, but if you just ay more in taxes, they can change the entire global climate. It's even more amazing that anyone believes them. 1:24PM 1/12/25 1.3MViews iews 1.3'

That's a breathtakingly stupid statement.

"It's critically important that, to the extent you can find anything that gives you an ability to be patient in this extremely dangerous and unprecedented crisis, that you do."

 You certainly are ...

Your usual weasel when you're refuted and schooled.

Chris Wright at his confirmation hearing, answering Angus King about climate change being real:

"Though he said climate change is real, he also said “there isn’t dirty energy or clean energy.” Rather, he said, there are different sources of energy with different tradeoffs.

“Energy is critical to human lives. Climate change is a global challenge that we need to solve,” Wright said. “And tradeoffs between those two are the decisions politicians make and they're the decisions that will impact the future of our world and our quality of life.”"

Now the question is, does he believe what he says or is he lying to get confirmed?

Unlikely that his genuine views are anything other than full-blown MAGA climate change denier insanity. Trump wouldn't have allowed the guy to lick his balls otherwise.

Of course, that goes for all his nominees. They've all displayed fawning servility as a core prerequisite, but it remains to be seen whether they'll act independently or merely as Trump appendages.
