What will the RepubliQ do now to fuck things up?

Crisis averted for now. So what will the extreme MAGAs, the Bitch Caucus, etc. do to garner attention? Return to the anti-abortion crusade? Resume the "Black's can't vote" campaign? Or just scream WOKE WOKE WOKE WOKE WOKE until they turn purple and faint. Perhaps the ones trying to grab Trump's dick will go back out on the campaign trail. But the rest of the gang--who are they going to try to hurt next?

They know they have a limited time frame. The blue wave will drown the Party of Putin in a little over a year. What can they do to cement their legacy as destructive assholes?

After readng this moronic diatribe by Lying Lewis is there really any question about his sanity?

The House Republicans got their asses stomped so badly - no one disagrees, not even Newt Gingrich - that I think most of their efforts will revert back to the state level. Namely, trying to jail more women who get abortions or imprison the ones that help them.

I don't know if this is even possible, but the federal government should step in and nullify those prosecutions. They are blatantly unconstitutional; in violation of the Fourteenth Amendment, as per Roe v. Wade.

The answer to your original question, Kevin, is that they have arranged it so we have no Speaker of the House, so the US House of Representatives is basically out of business.

Republicans must be so proud!

Wouldn't it be nice if the rule was that the Speaker could be appointed with a plurality if a majority didn't agree? Then Jeffries would be Speaker. And the stupid RepubliQ shitshow would be over.

I believe that many parliamentary bodies around the world have this exact same rule, especially since in most instances, there are many parties and any one party having a clear majority is unusual.

Will the American electorate react to this graphic illustration of what happens when you put these clowns in charge? And let's not forget the impending shutdown.

What about Joe Paterno and David Duke? Both have thrown their hat into the ring so to speak.  Don't you think one of those guys will make a great speaker?
