Sure, other countries might dismiss his rhetoric as just more Trumpian raving and not to be taken seriously, but certainly, they think less of us now.

 

When the world grows to hate us, there will be less trade--already on life support with the Trump tariffs--and less tourism, which would be another major blow to our economy. Trump has already reneged on several treaties. Who will ever trust us again?

Putin will move almost immediately into the other Eastern European countries he wants to integrate into Russia. Xi will immediately move into Taiwan. Putin and Xi might even feel empowered enough by Trump's expansionist rhetoric that they might move on those countries as soon as Trump takes office. 

 

it'll be like the start of World War II only we will be aligned with the axis powers this time. If Trump tries to occupy Greenland, NATO countries are obligated by treaty to go war against us.
