What's Going On, . . . .

A deadly virus plaguing China, . . . .

Locusts bedeviling Africa, . . .

An asteroid with a diameter over half-a-mile hurtling Earthward at 34,000 miles-per-hour, . . .

Poor old DonDiego's got a pesky hangnail, . . .

What's next ? ? ?

Poor old DonDiego is really glad he's not the firstborn son in his family !

Twenty-five years and my life is still

Trying to get up that great big hill of hope

For a destination

I realized quickly when I knew I should

That the world was made up of this brotherhood of man

For whatever that means

And so I cry sometimes

When I'm lying in bed just to get it all out

What's in my head

And I, I am feeling a little peculiar

And so I wake in the morning

And I step outside

And I take a deep breath and I get real high

And I scream from the top of my lungs

What's going on?

And I say, hey yeah yeah, hey yeah yeah

I said hey, what's going on?

And I say, hey yeah yeah, hey yeah yeah

I said hey, what's going on?

Oh, oh oh

Oh, oh oh

And I try, oh my god do I try

I try all the time, in this institution

And I pray, oh my god do I pray

I pray every single day

For a revolution

And so I cry sometimes

When I'm lying bed

Just to get it all out

What's in my head

And I, I am feeling a little peculiar

And so I wake in the morning

And I step outside

And I take a deep breath and I get real high

And I scream from the top of my lungs

What's going on?

And I say, hey hey hey hey

I said hey, what's going on?

And I say, hey hey hey hey

I said hey, what's going on?

And I say, hey hey hey hey

I said hey, what's going on?

And I say, hey hey hey hey

I said hey, what's going on?

Oh, oh oh oh

Twenty-five years and my life is still

Trying to get up that great big hill of hope

For a destination

Don has something to live for.  Enjoy.

Well, . . . a great big hill of, . . . um, . . . something, anyway.

I am confident Don Diego will eventually overcome his pessimism and make it up the great big hill of hope.

I doubt there has been any five minutes in human history when one could NOT point out the endless list of terrible things happening in the world. Even more so now with instantaneous worldwide communications.

I for one am wildly optimistic. I think we will come through the horror of Trump a better nation. I think that conservatism will eventually have the same social standing as human sacrifice. And I expect the price of craft beer to go down.

I also am optimistic that after 4 more years of President Trump draining the swamp that America will have recovered from the 8 years of "rule" by Obeyme and the despicable DemocRats.

Hooray for craft beer ! ! !

We can all agree on craft beer, so we have that going for us.

Perhaps we can link the abovementioned ideas and a craft beer will be developed that in addition to being tasty, confers complete immunity from the coronavirus.

Actually, that makes me wonder, given the continuing annual deaths each year from the flu, most of which would have been prevented by vaccination, whether we should switch from "flu shots" to "flu beer." Regular and Lite versions, of course.
