When the red line “IS” the red line

Sorry Mark, I ain’t buying that.

Of course you Trumpers will just shout "LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE" when anyone says something you don't want to hear. Stalker believes Fox News absolutely, implicitly, but he doesn't believe any more legitimate news sources because those sources don't spout Trump-favorable propaganda.

The Wall Street Journal isn't exactly a liberal-leaning news source, though, so you Trumpers should consider "buying" that. What is your reason for not believing it other than you don't want to?

Read their latest several articles re Trump and Iran over the last several days. Initially, they were going rah-rah-rah for Trump. Lately, they've been somewhat more critical of his decisions and the erratic nature of his justification for them. I don't think you can honestly say they're showing any bias or failing to tell the truth (except that they might be somewhat biased for Trump).

The real lie is Trump's assertion that an attack (presumably orchestrated by Soleimani) was "imminent." Of course, he had no way of knowing exactly what the guy's plans were. But Trump has to lie about that, because otherwise, his failure to brief Congress was that much more egregious. To say nothing of the fact that he really didn't have the authority to conduct the assassination.

Odd how you and David don't believe a right-wing source that is owned by the same guy that owns FOX News.

Actually, their missiles aren't even accurate enough to "miss on purpose." They went 11 for 15 when their target was an airbase over a mile across (missed the airbase completely four times).

They couldn't guarantee that no one would be killed, whether or not that was their actual intention. Pretty much, both sides were lucky, as the lack of fatalities allows both side to de-escalate if they want to. If some US service members had been killed, Trump would have felt obligated to retaliatem and then Iran would respond--lather, rinse, repeat.

Yet they hit the Saudi oil facilities with pinpoint accuracy.  That's odd.

How do you know that it was in fact "pinpoint accuracy"/ Maybe they fired 30 missiles and only 10 of them hit. We don't know, because the Saudi facilities didn't have radar and didn't have anyone watching the skies, unlike the US airbase.

You're trying to push the theory that they missed the US airbase on purpose, or something, ignoring the fact that 11 of their 15 missiles did indeed hit their target. Those missiles are not all that accurate and unlike more sophisticated US weapons, aren't guided by satellite navigation in real time.

I believe nothing that the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post and CNN have to say. Liberal rags and fake news. These "sources"of news have been proven wrong time after time. They distort the truth and out and out lie. Anyone relying on these lying sources needs to get their head(s) examined. And THIS is the TRUTH.

Thanks for the update, David.   Everyone, please Add Rupert Murdoch to the Deep State list.

17 missiles launched at the oil facility, hitting 5 strategic locations with one or more missiles hitting each site.  Evidence of guided missiles.

The line move in the Minn-SF game is huge; at +7.5, I like the Vikings. At +7, not so much.

I expect the Titans to keep this one close. Again, 9.5 points is a lot."

Congratulations to Kevin Lewis on his successful NFLwagers !

I find it amusing that, like little spoiled children, those posting here about the accuracy/non accuracy of Iran's missles is a topic for intelligent discussion. NONE of you know, but you argue anyway. Just shut up and go outside and play...

Of course they were "guided," but not in real time, as in, adjusted in midflight, the way a drone might be. The point I was making is that the missiles Iran uses aren't so accurate as to be able to reliably target--or avoid--individual buildings.

Thanks, three out of four ain't bad :) Now, let's see how the "dogs and Under" strategy works today (I generally don't parlay, but just bet each individually).

I in turn congratulate DonDiego on the stunning success of his soon-to-be home team. No one saw THAT coming--Patriots vanquished, then the Ravens?? Wow!

Kansas City is disintegrating as I type this.
