This trend toward "liberalizing" behaviors once thought to be inappropriate seeems to be spreading eastward: San Francisco, . . . Los Angeles, . . . and now Denver .
DonDiego hopes such activities do not make their way into his Appalachain paradise* any time soon.
* Last evening nine deer found their way onto poor old DonDiego's backyard, . . . scarfing up birdseed from and fallen from the feeders and even eating a bit of his lawn. DonDiego didn't know when he bought his home that a deer trail crossed over the property; he and his wife enjoy seeing the wildlife. For the record the deer did not defecate in the yard.
In the Spring and Summer lots of turkeys come visit too. The males prance about in front of seemingly uninterested females. But later the females show up with bunches of baby turkeys taking advantage of poor old DonDiego's birdseed. Unfortunately the turkeys do defecate, . . . umm, . . . occasionally, but they really cannot help it.
