There was no rational reason for anyone to vote for or support Trump. Even the business types who drooled all over him because of his promised tax breaks should know that their companies will be worse off when Trump implements his policies.

The number Iggo gave us is wildly inflated, and a lie no matter what, since not all the ballots have been counted. But whatever the gap is, I've already said, yes, it IS largely due to misogyny and racism, which conservatives don't have a franchise on.

If a given person is a racist or a misogynist, there's about a 4 out of 5 chance that they're a Republican. But that still leave millions of Democrats who hate women and nonwhite people, just like most Republicans.
