Do you honestly believe and think Biden is the guy to lead your party for the next 5 + years, even from your liberal perspective? Is he really? Or that his incumbency-related current power level is just too embedded to dislodge in order for the Democrats to retain the White House in 2024? Forget the ideological chasm and ongoing investigations for a few seconds..I'll try and do the same. During the limited instances I observe him during public appearances, I honestly experience empathy for his cognitive plight and then ensuingly become pissed off at the bureaucratic machine behind the news cameras/ stages that sends him out on a tight leash sporadically. I absolutely disagree with most all of his policies and approaches ( some of which may not likely be his own) ; yet, honest people can't observe his incidences of foggy public speech / behavior and not be influenced from a humanity standpoint. It's a big WTF. Cumulatively ( past two years), it all somewhat represents various tenets of abuse in some form or fashion, imo. I'd think the D machine could front a more vibrant and engaged nominee to lead their cause/s over the next few years, even though it might be too late for that from some current politically logistic perspective. Or is it?
Speculatively, the current status of this country and its political and cultural landscapes may be depicted by Trump and Biden if they do in fact emerge on a national debate stage, with both of them potentially wearing ankle monitors. Although in likely reality the DOJ apparatus may spare Biden from current allegations. Should we be concerned? Farcical, you say? Is it?
And no, I won't share my hamburger.
Charles, first of all, please ditch the idiot false equivalence argument equating the dozens of serious felonies Trump has been charged with and the Fox Nooze bullshit innuendo about Biden. If you truly argue that they're remotely comparable, then you need to go back into your conservative rabbit hole.
Biden isn't my first choice, but he's my choice over any evil, insane turd the Republicans might stick in our faces. And since that's likely the extent of the choices we'll be given, all I need to say is: Biden, hell yeah.
You make the mistake so many others make, in thinking that because Biden is a lousy speaker and in fact has an actual speech impediment, that he has cognitive issues. One does not equate to the other. But then, I suppose, as you guys think that Trump is a noble prophet because he babbles confidently, I shouldn't be surprised.
And to repeat something that's very important to me but oh so evidently means absolutely nothing to your gang: Biden is a good man and tries to do the right thing. I'm shocked and appalled that CHARACTER is utterly meaningless to the RepubliQ. And THAT, Charles, is my primary criterion, not whether someone has a mellifluous speaking tone.
