Apparently, Clara or whatever her name was was every bit as irascible and crabby as her character in the commercial. That's ideal casting: find someone who is like the character in real life. My favorite is Tony Randall in "The Odd Couple," who was a genuine total fussbudget in real life.

I bring it up to point out that there is usually more than one factor that causes a major event to happen, and during the Biden Administration, it was often blamed on Biden. That is all. You only mentioned Biden policies 10 months ago, until prompted by me, and you came out of the gate during the Trump administration with low herd populations.
If that simple fact upsets you, so be it. I'm happy to agree with conservative stances that fit my core beliefs; I don't flap in the wind depending on who is making the point. Many times, I agreed with the MAGA folks on this forum about Biden and Hunter, and it would be crickets from them. They didn't know how to deal with someone who doesn't fit their stereotype.

Our resident MAGAs used Hunter's Mystical Magical Laptop as a dishonest deflection point for years. Trump ordered his lackeys to destroy the Capitol and kill everyone within, but WHAT ABOUT HUNTER'S LAPTOP? HUH???
Nevertheless, in the interest of fairness, there are some reasons why MAGA might honestly overestimate the influence/connections between Hunter and Joe;
1) Many MAGAs grew up in authoritarian Bible-thumping households where Daddy's word was law. They may thus overestimate the degree to which Hunter pays attention to Joe.
2) Trump's spawn doesn't so much as fart without permission from the Turd.
But Boilerboob and stupid Tom? Their 45,000 posts about Hunter have been nothing more than deflection.
