Which Sanctuary Jurisdictions Have Released the Most Criminals? California Leads the Way

This must make Edso so proud -  Newly obtained ICE records reveal the sanctuary jurisdictions that have most frequently failed to allow ICE to take custody of deportable aliens who were jailed in those locations. Over the period covered by the records (October 1, 2022, to February 6, 2025), more than 25,000 detainers were declined by these jails, and in more than 1,400 instances the jails failed to give adequate notification to ICE to take custody of the aliens. Among the findings: More than half of the declined detainers (52 percent) were refused by jails and prisons in California. The total number declined in California was 13,025. - The jail with the highest number of declined detainers or insufficient notice to ICE was the main jail in Santa Clara County, Calif., which released nearly 3,000 criminal aliens during the period. -  https://cis.org/Vaughan/Which-Sanctuary-Jurisdictions-Have-Released-Most-Criminals

California, the Sunshine state.  The state that has the balls to tell Trump to "Stick it!"

California - the land of fruits and nuts.

Releasing convicted criminals who are illegally in this country back into the community is crazy.   Why do Democrats support this?  Well, I imagine only a small percentage of rank-and-file Democrats really support this, but nevertheless, it ends up in their political leaders' policy playbook. Send the criminals home, and jail those who return after being deported for 5-10 years after we convict them of felony re-entry.

Yeah, not a fan.  Will be interesting if Chad Bianco, the sheriff here in Riverside County wins in the next election.  He's got a lot of support in Riverside, San Bernardino and the Central counties.  Interestingly, the Sheriff of San Francisco has endorsed him.

It's so much fun to see the MAGA morons who are stuck in red state shitholes whine and whine and whine and whine and whine about California.

Pure envy.
