The Whistleblower

RealClearInvestigations is disclosing the name because of the public’s interest in learning details of an effort to remove a sitting president from office. Further, the official's status as a “whistleblower” is complicated by his being a hearsay reporter of accusations against the president, one who has “some indicia of an arguable political bias … in favor of a rival political candidate" -- as the Intelligence Community Inspector General phrased it circumspectly in originally fielding his complaint.

Federal documents reveal that the 33-year-old Ciaramella, a registered Democrat held over from the Obama White House, previously worked with former Vice President Joe Biden and former CIA Director John Brennan, a vocal critic of Trump who helped initiate the Russia “collusion” investigation of the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.

And so it begins - the Bill Cosby defense.    Republicans now  smear everyone who corroborates what happened.

The transcript, his Ukraine Ambassador, Eu Ambassador, and chief of staff are all lying.   And now the whistleblower too.     And pay no attention to the fact the White House tried to bury the call notes on a top secret server.

The only rational explanation is all the accussers are lying under oath....just like with someone else we know

It is so fucking hilarious that Republican attack ads, and our parroting Trumpers, keep saying things like "remove a sitting President from office," as if that was illegal or immoral or fattening, or something.

I assume that DonDiego, being, y'know, not a hypocrite and all, expressed similar outrage when Republicans tried to remove a sitting President, Bill Clinton, from office.

However, DonDiego need not worry. When the police come for Trump, he'll be asked to stand up so they can put the handcuffs on.

Kevin NEVER misses a chance to demonstrtae his foul mouthed , insane rhetoric. When the interns arrive, Kevin will be forced to stand up as they put the straight jacket and muzzle on him...

Nevermind that - you should have seen their case for putting Hillary Clinton in jail for ....um...something.

Oh - and just a public service.   DonDiego's source that published infromaton from someone who broke the Federal Government's whistleblower protection laws:

Media Bias Check

Overall, we rate RealClearInvestigations Right-Center Biased based on story selection that moderately favors the Right and Mixed for factual reporting due to utilizing several sources that have failed fact checks.

Sounds about right.

The same one Edward Snowden is guilty of.      Having fun yet?

Here's news from another source PJStroh won't find credible: Washington Examiner :

"The whistleblower whose complaint launched impeachment proceedings against President Trump is unlikely to testify to Congress, as talks have ceased between his legal team and committee leaders.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, who has overseen depositions in Democrats' impeachment proceeding, was initially eager for the whistleblower to testify before citing concern about the person being identified."

- - - - -

"On Wednesday, Zaid and Bakaj [the whistleblower's attorneys - DD] declined to confirm or deny in a statement to the Washington Examiner that Eric Ciaramella, 33, a career CIA analyst and former Ukraine director on the NSC, was the whistleblower after a report by RealClearInvestigations. [see above - DD]

Schiff said last month that the whistleblower had indicated a willingness to talk and that he 'look[ed] forward to the whistleblower’s testimony as soon as this week'. On Sept. 25, he declared in a statement, 'We need to speak with the whistleblower.'

Schiff has since backtracked, saying on October 13, 'Our primary interest right now is making sure that that person is protected.' ”

I never said DonDiego's source was not credible....I said they published information from someone who broke Federal Whistleblower protection laws.    Readers are free to judge the ethics and bias of a media source that would do such a thing.    Media Bias Check did -  hence my public service post.

have a great day!
