Anecdotally you can find examples of anything.   

In the year of COVID Asian hate crimes went through the roof and we had a president who used race-identiy politics as a divisive weapon to fuel it.    I'm kinda glad he's been replaced by a president who does not.  How about you?

The current president signed a law to impose severe punishments against the perps in these crimes.    Seemed like a no brainer except to half of the Republicans who voted against it.    They dont seem to be as bothered by the cited incident here as Boilerman and Tom.

PJ, Liberals have cornered the market by using race to divide our country.  Let's look at MLK's famous believe that we should not consider one's color, but only one's charactor.  Many Liberals consider this hate speech today.  After all, these people demand that people be treated differently because of the color of their skin.  I agreed and agree with MLK's sensible stance.

Regarding extra punishement for hate crimes, I have mixed opinions, as there may be some value to control the surge.  I do have an issue with a white guy getting a larger penalty for hitting someone "of color" in the head with a hammer vs a black guy doing the same to a white guy.  Somehow, even if the black guy attacked the white guy because of his race, this doesn't qualify as a hate crime.  Somehow, hate crimes against whites don't count, yet they are rampent nowadays.

in the same post you rant about judging people for character instead of skin color you immediately follow that with an editorial that divides up people by the color of their skin.    And your pattern of doing that is not at all limited to that  post, is it?

As already noted, the cowardly perpetrator who sucker puinched the Asian woman was black.    Nothing in the law that was signed doles out different penalties for people based upon their skin color.   Thats your fabrication based upon some perceived idea that white people are the real vicitms in this country.   Thats a message sold on FOX News primetime every evening.   And its the exact oppossitte of the first point you deseperately tried to sell.  

No one, except perhaps someone of Boiler's ilk, cowering in his basement, believes that anything MLK ever said is or was hate speech.

Boiler is also dead wrong, stupidly wrong, when he speculates that a Black person attacking a White person would never be considered a hate crime. Of COURSE it would--if it was determined that the victim's race was a significant factor in the perpetrator's actions.

For all of his asinine bleating, Boiler should learn to read about the things that twist his old white boy panties. As in, maybe he should read a hate crime statute--any one will do--and see if it exempts any racial or ethnic group from prosecution for such crimes.

And just to make things clear--White people (especially cops) often kill people just because they're Black, but Black people very seldom kill people just because they're White.

The "white victimhood" conservative bleat is so stupid, it's hard to believe thay continue to tout it, but then, this is the party of insurrections, Bill Gates chip implants, and Jewish space lasers.

Why is there NEVER a crime that qualifies as hate against a black guy against a white guy, no matter if the black guy said.........."I'm killing you because you are a white fucker?"

The Red Elephants blog points out that Black perpetrators are also overrepresented among all perpetrators of hate crimes — by 50% — according to the most recent Justice Department data from 2017. Whites are underrepresented by 24%.
