It was a fair prediction, but note that unlike your silly predictions, he didn't say that it was an absolute certainty that it would happen and that his opinions were DA TROOTY TROOT.

Yep. A fair prediction is a scenario that is plausible. Whether it actually comes to pass is irrelevant as far as the definition is concerned.
