Who will carry the Torch of MAGA Evil in 2028?

Both are awful humans who abandoned their morality to support America's Hitler and betray our constitution on a daily basis, so either are a perfect fit to be a Republican nominee for President.

Yeah..but the numbers are what they are ( prognosticated); one of the two will likely be the nominee..sans a clandestine date with a goat.

Don't overlook Ken Paxton. He is the only one that is remotely close to Trump in terms of criminality and corruption. Vance and Rubio are more along the lines of subservient cucks that abandoned their morality and testicles in hopes of advancing their political careers.

Paxton and Trump are true believers that political office gives them license to use taxpayer funds, government assets and Government employees however they desire and even if is just for their exclusive personal benefit. 

Paxton's a longshot because of his legal / impeachment battles in TX; he doesn't stand much chance outside of Texas ( opposition campaign would be merciless), imo.

Then I guess that a major element of the answer is whether MAGA will want more of the same--shameless thievery, subservient, drooling loyalty--or someone who will actually govern and have some concern for the welfare of the people.

That, in turn, will depend on just how far into the crapper the Turd drives the economy. Right now, we're in free fall and there's only a few instances of feeble opposition to his policies. SCOTUS is preparing to kowtow to him on the tariff issue and in general, whether he can rule by tweets and imperial decrees. There's no check or balance on him; the Founders have failed.

So much as it took two horrible world wars for Europe to become peaceful, it might take an utter economic disaster for us to toss MAGA into history's dumpster once and for all 

The polls show him opening up a lead for that Texas Senate seat. I suspect he will be the Republican nominee for that seat. 

Likely, yeah. Aren't we all sorta sick of Cornyn? 

We're all sort of sick of Texas. Inbred yahoos spending their days dreaming about shooting Mexicans. A culture based on awful music and cattle manure. And a governor who's Trump Lite: stupid and evil in equal measure.

Not to mention their ongoing efforts to disenfranchise half the state's voters.

I know fifteen or twenty Texans that are in fact not inbred as I'm fully aware of  their pedigrees / genetic backgrounds ( none of these people have sloped foreheads). This group of Texans are in fact all of Latino heritage, and to my knowledge none have been shot at once  in their entire damned  lives. I'm not sure you know what you're alleging or if you're just wholeheartedly bashing yet another entity because you disagree with them / it? Maybe you were just being facetious and attempting sit-down , computer monitor comedy? A hint to the wise is sufficient.

Further, why disparage cattle manure when it is inextricably linked to beef and beef products? You hate hamburgers / steaks, too? You vegan? What the hell is wrong with you? It makes good fertilizer as well..for granny's garden and for vegetable crops as well..nationwide. You have no respect for nitrogen, phosphorous, or potassium? That's unAmerican . You hate vegetables as well?  It's hard to get by on tree bark ya know? Cow crap is a valuable cash commodity elsewhere as well; you should look up what it's worth per ton in Oregon. I'll bet there's all kinds and amounts of cow manure dumped on the Willamette Valley annually. You'll be surprised. That's your homework...we'll educate you yet. Maybe you just don't enjoy the aroma? Everything's a tradeoff.

I disparage Texas music because it's all cowboy twang twang twang songs about how my pickup truck left me. However, it's undeniably popular down there, due to the, uh, culture.

I was referring not to manure production as such--as you point out, it's an integral part of the cattle industry--but rather, Texans' use of it as a cosmetic and personal fragrance enhancer. T'ain't nuthin' sweeter than cattle poop!

Referring to shooting at Mexicans--I said that they dreamed about it, not that they did it (very much). You really need to read posts before you disparage them. That said, there's a "club"--several hundred strong, at least --that gathers at private land bordering the Rio Grande and "patrols" it. I'm sure that it's just about chugging whiskey and plinking beer cans. 

The inbreeds I refer to are the white people whose ancestors were kicked out of other states. I don't include Latinos, because while many of them are native Texans, white Texans don't consider them as such; in fact, they don't consider them to be fully human. If the white folks in charge cared about them other than as a source of cheap labor, they wouldn't expend so much effort to disenfranchise them. 

Texas is an ugly, unpleasant, ignorant racist shithole. But I do fully acknowledge the state's critical role in bovine manure production. Trump's manure tariffs are protecting that vital industry. No Mexican cow poop for us!
