The recent use of US armed forces against California as a punishment for not voting for Trump makes me speculate: who would win if war broke out?

The good guys: California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, New England states, New York, Minnesota

The bad guys: Plains goober states, Tay-ucks-ass, Deep Shit South, Ohio, Indiana, Alaska, Idaho, Montana

Neutral: Utah, Arizona (?), Nevada (?), North Carolina, Virginia

Toss-up (could go either way): Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois

Now, the Blue states would have the clear advantage in financial resources, brainpower, and thanks to California, food...while the Red states would have all the guns and all the fanatics. There would also be the logistical problem of the Blue states being so far from one another, while the Red state coalition would be geographically contiguous and have much better supply lines.

I think the Blue states would prevail, due to technological superiority. But that's what worries me. I can see Trump (or his successor) still in control of the nuclear arsenal and nuking Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle after his armed forces get routed in the field.

I can't imagine any scenario that wouldn't end in total devastation. But maybe I'm wrong. Could we split up and ultimately end up peacefully separate (even after a civil war)? Three nations: Pacifica and Atlantica (allied), and the United States of Trump. Wary of one another, but trade partners and ultimately peaceful neighbors. There would be a lot of migration, as MAGAs and liberals alike relocated to the nations that most closely aligned with their ideologies. Maybe it would be a better outcome than the deteriorating-into-fascism Turd shitshow we have now.

And oh yeah, I forgot the best part! I would no longer be living in the same country as Millerscum and Boilerboob! And of course, stupid Tom would move to rural Kentucky forthwith.
