Yeah, if you have preconceived notions, stupid Tommie-poo's nonsense fits right in.

The trouble with a CD is that the money is inaccessible for the life of the instrument. Anything that pays 5 percent will have a term of several years. DUHHHH, Jerry.

But ya know what? You guys are right. The economy is awful awful awful and both of you should kill yourselves immediately.

"Several years" as in 7 months.......your logic is made to look foolish daily here.   DUHHHH, Kevin.

Fidelity MM (SPAAX) current yield is 5% with immediate check writing. CPA/economist Kevin strikes again.

He really is just horrible in that area.

They charge fees for that "immediate check writing." And they have a large minimum balance requirement.

This is just another example of Tom's cherry-picking. He went scrambling around to find ONE investment vehicle that pays 5%. Doesn't prove diddly-fuck.

You, Jerry, lack judgment--agreeing with stupid Tommie-poo so often. You shame yourself.

No they don't charge fees and the minimum balance is $1,000.  And the 5% return is the industry average & a $1,000 minimum deposit is normal.

OK, Tom. You're absolutely right. The economy is horrible horrible horrible awful awful awful and you should kill yourself immediately.

Feel better now?

What about the 7 month CD I have right now getting 5%?  Just glossed right over that one I see.

Your financial takes are really really bad, Kevin.  Almost as bad as your professional sports takes.

Tom, Kevin has no idea what Fidelity is.

1) Hooray for you. I'm not sure how that proves the economy is horrible. Please explain.

2) I don't have the same opinions as you. And in the case of sports, the same antiquated misogyny.

3) Yeah. No idea. Aside from owning about $300,000 worth of their mutual funds about 15 years ago.

Agreed, it doesn't with the economy as you stated in #1 above but it does prove this statement was ignorant:  (where you mocked me with the "DUHHH")
