The New York Times :

From Antifa to Mothers in Helmets, Diverse Elements Fuel Portland Protests

OR

Representative Jerry Nadler:

From  The New York Post :

New York Rep. Jerry Nadler is shown in a new online clip calling violence in Portland by Antifa a “myth,” after protests were declared a riot on Sunday morning.

The House Judiciary Committee Chairman was approached by writer-producer Austen Fletcher, who said he asked the Democrat to disavow the rioting in the Oregon city.

I ran into Jerry Nadler in DC and asked him to disavow the Antifa violence/rioting in Portland.  His response? ‘THAT’S A MYTH,’” Fletcher said in a tweet along with the short video.  Before getting into his car, Nadler tells Fletcher that it’s a “myth that’s being spread only in Washington DC.”

It is a myth that violence in Portland is exclisive to the unorganized group Don Diego knows as "ANTIFA".

It should be noted the "reporter" referenced by DonDIego in Rupert Murdoch's preferred fair-n-balanced tabloid did not frame his question to include  violence committed by alt-right groups and Federal authorities outside their jurisdiction.

So there's that.

As for me - I've pretty much had it with Portland.   Point made.  GO home.    take the fight to the election and organization of better leadership.    Nothing constructive is happening there now.

PJStroh opines:  "It is a myth that violence in Portland is exclisive [sic] to the unorganized group Don Diego knows as 'ANTIFA' ".

DonDiego never intended to suggest the violence was the product of any single left-wing organization.  He opines Antifa would welcome any like-minded mob.

ANTIFA is the conservative boogie man that is nothing more than a simple belief. You are ANTIFA if you oppose fascism. Like these guys.

You don't get a membership card or go to meetings. Given Don Deigo's hostility toward fighting fascism, I can only conclude he is PROFA.

Alt-right groups = Radical left wing groups.

No, actually, the alt-right is far more violent and has views that diverge much more from those of the average American than those of the "radical left wing."

You see, what Boiler doesn't comprehend is:

Radical right: burn down buildings, guns for toddlers, shoot Mexicans and Black people, start a white supremacist race war

"Radical" left: Universal health care, fair taxation, address climate change, racial equality, voting rights for all citizens

Child labor laws, social security, workplace safety laws, laws that said you can't dump toxic waste in a river---those were all called "radical" when they were first proposed.

And you know what? Even back then, Republicans railed against SOOOOOOCIALISM when trying to stop those reforms.

DonDiego has been played if he thinks the recent violence is the "product" of left-wing organizations. White folks like Proud Boys and Boogaloo have been bringing weapons and explosives to protests nationwide. They blow things up, fire their GUNZ, and hope the protestors as a group will be blamed and maybe the race war they've always dreamed of will start.

DonDiego has fallen for this trick, hook, line, and sinker. He also has learned to parrot Fox News about Antifa Antifa Antifa. They're EVERYWHERE!!! They're hiding behind every bush and under every rock! EEEEEEEK!!!

Kevin Lewis alleges the prescence of "Proud Boys" and "Boogaloo" in the Portland riots.

Poor old DonDiego has googled "Proud Boys in Portland" and "Boogaloo in Portland".

The only real hit he got was from 19 August 2019: "Proud Boys Dwarfed by Anti-Fascist Protesters at Portland Rally .

The closest hit on Boogaloo was from 5 June 2020: "‘Boogaloo movement’ seeks second Civil War, may be trying to incite violence at protests

Maybe thy're just very well concealed this time.

Regarding the illusion of "peaceful protests", . . .

... A protest against police violence in Austin, Texas, turned deadly when police said a protester was shot and killed by a person who drove through a crowd of marchers.

... someone was shot and wounded in Aurora, Colorado, after a car drove through a protest there, authorities said.

... In Seattle, police officers retreated into a precinct station early Sunday, hours after large demonstrations in the city’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.  Rocks, bottles, fireworks and mortars were fired at police during the weekend unrest, and police said they arrested at least 45 people for assaults on officers, obstruction and failure to disperse. Twenty-one officers were hurt, with most of their injuries considered minor, police said.

...  In the Texas capital of Austin, 28-year-old Garrett Foster was shot and killed Saturday night by a person who had driven through the march against police violence.

... In the Denver suburb of Aurora, Colorado, meanwhile, a protester shot and wounded someone after a car drove through a crowd marching on an interstate highway, police said.

...  Protesters in Oakland, California, set fire to a courthouse, damaged a police station, broke windows, spray-painted graffiti, shot fireworks and pointed lasers at officers after a peaceful demonstration Saturday evening turned to unrest.

...  n Virginia’s capital, Richmond, a dump truck was torched as several hundred protesters and police faced off late Saturday during a demonstration of support for the protesters in Portland. Police declared it to be an “unlawful assembly” at around 11 p.m. and used what appeared to be tear gas to disperse the group. Five people were arrested in the incident and charged with unlawful assembly. A sixth person was also arrested and charged with rioting and assault on a law enforcement officer.

...  In downtown Atlanta on Sunday, federal agents examined damage to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility where windows were shattered late Saturday.

...  And in Baltimore, people from a group of nearly 100 demonstrators spray-painted anti-police messages on a Fraternal Order of Police building and adjacent sidewalks on Saturday night,

For the record poor old DonDiego was safe at home during all these incidents.  He is unharmed.

I didn't say they were in Portland specifically; I said they were in protests nationwide. Also, they don't necessarily identify themselves--especially if they've come to commit acts of arson and vandalism. I don't think they're "concealed" so much as hiding in the crowds.

At any rate, Trump has succeeded in drowning out the fundamental message of the protestors and depicting them as "violent anarchists." DonDiego should be very happy at Trump's accomplishment and the certainty that any efforts to achieve racial justice in this country will grind to a halt.
