3 Main Reasons - https://www.facebook.com/reel/1175334289827983
Crime, homelessness, and terrible policies. The terrible policies certainly are the reason for increased crime and homelessness, but other policies would be an unfriendly business environment, ever increasing taxes, sky high utility costs, and support for drug users to only name a few.
People want to live in areas which are safe, pretty (which certainly doesn't include homeless camps), has plentiful good jobs, and low taxes. Weather is certainly one reason to stay in southern California, but the problems are trumping weather for many people. Also, if you live 30 miles inland from the water in southern California, the weather is no bargain. Many folks don't know that during July in SoCal, the air temps tend to be in the high 70's along the water because the cold ocean water cools the air. A rule of thumb, however, is that for every mile that you drive inland during summer, the temp increases 1 degree F. 30 miles from the water, the air temp is now 108.
You conservitards are so stupid. You keep honking the same horn, over and over and over. Of COURSE people are moving from California. They're also moving from Texas, New Hampshire, and Alaska. And every other state.
Fuckin' idiots.
The new red wave is already here -- The exodus is real: California lost nearly 350,000 residents in 2022, while New York lost about 300,000 and Illinois saw more than 140,000 go elsewhere, per Census numbers. Other states, including New Jersey (-64,231), Massachusetts (-57,292) and Pennsylvania (-39,957), also saw large numbers of residents say goodbye. But other states, such as Florida and Texas, saw large gains in population, with Florida adding an eye-popping 444,484 residents and Texas adding 470,708. Other population winners include North Carolina (99,796 residents added), South Carolina (+84,030), Tennessee (+81,646) and Georgia (+81,406). Not coincidentally, all these southern states except North Carolina have Republican governors, while California, New York, Illinois, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania have Democratic governors.---https://thehill.com/opinion/finance/3854794-the-new-red-wave-is-already-here/

And in winter, the temperatures are in the 60s and 70s and the sun is shining. There are periods of unpleasant weather everywhere. I'll take SoCal weather over Texas or Florida weather (or Alaska, or New England, or Michigan) any day.
But why are you whining whining whining? No one is forcing you to live anywhere you don't want to.
Crime is Making Americans Flee Democratic States -- The populations of traditionally Republican states have grown, while several Democratic states had seen declines, U.S. Census Bureau data shows. Many of those leaving cited law and order, politics, and the cost of living as factors, with California especially suffering from high taxes, crime and homelessness.---The main reasons given for the movement, people told Newsweek, were politics, the cost of living, taxation—and crime. --- Read it here -- https://www.newsweek.com/why-americans-are-fleeing-democratic-states-1795292

Kevin, can you tell us the percentage decrease in California population since 2019, and almost as importantly the income level of those moving out of California? Also, can you tell us the income level of the homeless and drug addicts moving in?
It's not just that people are leaving, it's that people who pay the bills are leaving. And why wouldn't Kevin kmow this?

You claim to know why people are moving from California. Have you actually ASKED anyone?
If not, you're just babbling.

Yes! I have a friend who lives in the Bay area. I'll be with him in Vegas. I have a friend who lives in Belmont Shore, and he will be in Vegas. I have a friend who used to have a place in Belmont Shore until 3 years ago.......my same friend who just move out of the Lincoln Park, Chicago area. He will be in Vegas. I have another friend who lives in Pacific Beach, and he will be in Vegas.
Yes, I've asked people who live there. Plus I was at a bar in Pacific Beach, CA in late April/early May this year. The place is called Lahaina. My friends Pete and Dave were golfing so I Ubered to the bar after my flight landed. I asked people there.
Yes, I've asked people. Yes, I've read what people are saying. Apparantly Kevin finds it surpising that people don't like crime, homelessness, drug addicts, closed down businesses and high taxes. I knew that even before I asked lots of people, and their answers confirmed what I knew.
Apparantly I'm a master of the obvious.
