Overall, prices never go down. If prices would go down that would mean we are in a major recession or even depression. It is basic econ 101 stuff.

You're simply dead wrong on that; wages have increased to the extent that they're keeping pace with inflation, and currently, even outpacing it a bit. I have no idea what you mean by a "cost of living increase" and who would be providing it, but if you mean people on fixed incomes like Social Security, they received COLA increases that in each of the prior three years, were larger than inflation.

You seem to suffer from the same disease as Davey Dog. Insulting me doesn't do jack shit to bolster your arguments. In fact, it weakens them, as doing so implies that you lack an actual rebuttal.
