Why, exactly, does the Turd have a hard-on for Harvard?

The Orange Asshole is in the process of a full-blown vendetta against Harvard. Now, we know that his "retribution" dog crap is always in response to some perceived slight, business deal gone south, somebody daring to criticize him, etc. But WTF did Harvard do to make him mad?

We know MAGA hates universities in general--"I love the uneducated!"--and wants to shut them all down, but why is Trumphole focusing his wrath on them? 

In any event, tens of millions in taxpayer dollars are going to fuel his personal feud. So much losing!

He's sending a message to the rest of the world....."All of the future Jensen Huangs, Elon Musks, Satya Nedelas, and other foreign born economic stars of the future economy should train and participate in other economies.   You're not welcome in the USA."

Harvard values foreign students and they have a lot of them.  (Perhaps wealthy ones, tho I don't know that.) Trumps actions will have a chilling, maybe killing effect on Harvard (and probably other ivy league schools) retaining big numbers of students since they may be deported.   That's part of the mess, anyway.

Im 99% sure he will lose in court.   But thats not the issue.     It wont be a case of foreign students not being allowed at Harvard....it will be the case that foreign students dont want to enroll at Harvard or any US university out of fear for their own safety and respect of their civil rights.

US citizens are a minority in the tech industry.    Go look at the front lines of all of our biggest tech companies in the current economic revolution of AI, cloud, and chip development.   Its a majority foreign born population.    And Trump is telling those people they arent welcome to come here anymore.

But the good news is - he's working on bringing NIKE, Levi Strauss, and other low income manufactuing jobs back to AMerica.    So China can go onto leading the tech world - and we can sew shoes.

Absolutely.  Tech,  research.  Trump may be afraid somebody can blow the whistle on RFK Jr. as a medical joke.  Head of HHS?  Of all plumb appointments?  Of course didn't Trump bloviate his disregard of agencies related to medical expertise during his first term?

Well, hasn't that been conservatism/Republicans/MAGA all along --at least, since Ronny Raygun? Anti-intellectualism has been a huge selling point for them--and as we've learned all too well, there are enough stupid people out there to bring Republicans big election victories.

The trouble is, "I love the uneducated" could get us all killed. If we get another pandemic, the CDC won't have any power or resources, and the bleach-drinkers will help to thoroughly spread the disease.
