That's right!  A record 250,000 international students were denied F1 visas representing a cost of  30 Billion Dollars+ over 4 years.  An unprecidented 36% denial rate.

The "standards" for student visas became much more strict under the Turd--and Biden didn't have enough votes in the House to change that. (Unlike Trump, Biden never attempted to bypass the law by issuing an illegal executive order.)

Furthermore, Trump essentially barred all student visa applications from China, and that country was the largest source of such applications.

Biden couldn't fix all the damage the Turd had done. The rejections were because of Turd policies that lingered after Biden took office
