Why in the hell would Greenland want to join the United States?

Greenland is totally dependent on Denmark for their survival, even though they have vast reserves of minerals that Denmark won't let them develop.  So becoming part of the US would open up their economy and make them wealthier.  In turn the US would get a return on their investment by leasing out the mineral rights.  In addition their taxes would go down.

OK, Davey Dog fuckface, I'll tell you. I won't use any big words. Our healthcare system is for-profit and run by huge corporations. Naturally, they want profit. That adds to the cost of care 

In every other civilized country, healthcare is administered by the government and paid for by taxes. Here in the US, we have to pay those costs AND feed the big corporations. Therefore, our costs are double.
