MAGA runs from the truth, just like you ran from trying to debate that Trump inherited a strong economy from Obama with me, your feelings couldn't even take reading the article. Oh my, so funny.

You'll get reactions from me as long as you infest this forum and take out your frustrations by bitching and moaning and whining.

So, fuck you, lying Trumper scum.

The highest ranking Treasury official, David A Lebryk, is resigning rather than complying with a request by Elon Musk and the DOGE agency for access to audit where they’ve spent trillions of dollars a year. Why would career bureaucrats fear an audit by Trump’s team?

For one thing, he apparently is able to retire, because he is retiring.  That's what I'd do in his situation.  Not taking up for him, as I know nothing about him.

But I'll guess with the spector of this 'audit' looming, he is smart and lucky if he can take his retirement options and get the hell out.

Too bad, though, as based on what I read he has a number of years in the postion, would know the ins and outs of Treasury and government operations on the whole.  Having to suffer the slings and arrows from Musk and Trump as they comb through the records looking for anything to crucifyt him about, from trivia to minor to major shortcomings.  Musk and Trump know a lot about money, but do they know what it takes to administer this gigantac and critical agency?

I do hope they find the "waste, fraud, and abuse" of government resources that I used to have to attend a class about every couple of years during my tenure, and then do something about it.  We hear of it, just never hear of anything done about it.  Rant over.  Thanks for reading.

Musk rips 'fraudulent' Treasury handouts as reports mount DOGE has access to federal payment system Musk reported that Treasury officers were 'always' instructed to approve payments, 'even to known fraudulent or terrorist groups' -Tech billionaire Elon Musk ripped alleged "fraudulent" Treasury payments on Saturday as reports circulated that the Department of Government Efficiency has gained acces to the federal government's payment system as the second Trump administration continues cutting what they say is government fat and overspending. "The @DOGE team discovered, among other things, that payment approval officers at Treasury were instructed always to approve payments, even to known fraudulent or terrorist groups. They literally never denied a payment in their entire career. Not even once," Musk, the chair of DOGE, posted early Saturday morning to X. Musk's post came just ahead of the New York Times reporting Saturday afternoon that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent granted DOGE personnel access to the payment system. The Treasury spends roughly $6 trillion per year on payments for federal agencies. --DOGE's reported access to the payment system comes after the Washington Post reported on Friday that the former acting director of the Treasury, David A. Lebryk, was planning to exit the finance department of the federal government following a clash over granting DOGE access to its payment system. Lebryk oversaw the Treasury Department in the days between President Donald Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20 and Bessent's confirmation to lead the department on Jan. 27. -- https://www.foxnews.com/politics/musk-rips-fraudulent-treasury-payments-reports-mount-doge-has-access-federal-payment-system
