Why is it bad to search for government fraud?

Math. A foreign concept to you, as has been readily apparent from your posts.

There are only 735 billionaires in the US.  So in order to earn $4T the 735 billionaires would need to make $5.4B per year.  Simple math.

And the tax plan covers all Americans

I'll paraphrase Kevin's comment which I agree with:

"[Let] the poor folks suffer so the rich can get richer."

And as Kevin states, the disruptions, the going without, the dangers may not be noticed for a while (except for those who got "you are fired as of today" emails), and right now "cant be easily quantified."  Can be easily angered against in rallies and op ed pages, but at what outcome and at what personal risk?

How is reducing govt waste enriching the rich?

Why does Tom think Social Security workers and Social Security offices are waste?

According to that agency's administration  those efforts   are going to make processing claims slower and require elderly/disabled people to show up in person instead of transacting over the phone like they do now.   And since they are closing offices - that means those elderly/disabled people have to travel farther and wait in longer lines.

Thats the oppositte of  efficient.   And its acutally punitive to elderly/disabled people who have a hard time with mobility.   And it doesnt do a damn thing to impact the deficit.

Oh - and I can pretty much make the same statement for every agency DOGE has touched thus far.

MAGA doesnt like to argue the specifics of what DOGE is doing.  They just point to the general mission statement and want to have it on those grounds.
