Will RepubliQ propaganda get more truthy now?

The $787 million settlement only cost Fox News about 20% of its available cash. At this rate, it could afford four more lies before it would have to appeal to Trumpers for a fundraiser.

Still, lies and defamation ain't cheap, and Fox is facing other lawsuits, which may be equally expensive. So I'm curious--will deliberate lying no longer be a part of the Fox brand? What about other conservitard foghorns?

There are quite a few individuals who could sue Fox for defamation, as well. It would be fun to see the floodgates open and the company torn to bits. Nice to know that, as, the Dominion lawyer said, lies have consequences.

Now, if only believing lies had consequences, we could lobotomize all Trumpers and secure the health and happiness of future generations.

I think Fox News has 787 million reasons to change their lying ways. People and companies now know if Fox lies about them, they will get a big payday.  And Fox isn't done with these 2020 election lawsuits yet.

I suspect Smartmatic will get a similar settlement. Throw in attorneys fees and it looks like Fox is out at least 1.5 Billion by the time it's all said and done.  Paying out that kind of money so you can tell your viewers the kind of lies they want to hear is not a substainable business model.

I believe that FAUX ''news'' shareholders are suing Murdoch and the Board for letting the lies cost them.
