Would Kevin please explain to us the difference between "consiracy" and "collusion", since the Mueller report admitted that there is no evidence of conspiracy?
"Collusion" suggests the president willingly accepted help from the Russians with propoganda and intelligence about his political opponent. That is not illegal. And (at least for Boilerman) thats not even something that is ethically objectionable.
"Conspiracy" can only be met if it is proven the president was directly involved in soliciting this information from Russua. There was plenty of evidence to this effect (like his son's meeting with Russian agents that he and his father lied about and then later conceded after several witnesses made it irrefutable). Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, and Rick Gates all lied to prosecutors about their involvement on this front which is why they went to prison. And the president himself hid behind executive privilege, refusing to cooperate with the investigation....after firing the person who intially led the investigation.
So, you're right, Boilerman. The president was not found guilty of "Conspiracy" with Russia thanks to several people who lied on his behalf, his obstruction of justice, and his son's inability to get good information from a meeting that was set up to do that very thing. Congratulations on your big win.
But its all a moot point. Because the president was found guilty of conspiracy with Ukraine and by all accounts is still actively pursuing it with Rudy Giulialzheimers. But lucky for you Republicans said thats A-OK with them. They aren't competent enough to hold criminals accountable for crimes so they said the public should decide in November.
what else can I help with today?
