If he is treated like everyone else he shouldn't but I suspect he will be given special privileges.  He should also be leaving jail with an ankle bracelet, required to report to a probation officer and be given random drug tests.

I loathe the man as much as anybody. I've made a pact to urinate on his grave someday. But the purpose of arraignment is to ensure appearance, not punish. As of this hour, he hasn't been convicted of anything yet. 

Matt, That is the treatment any defendant charged with serious crimes would get.  Why should Trump get more favorable treatment? In the Federal Document case, any other defendant wouldn't even get bail because they would be considered a risk as they might reveal the contents of the defense documents to someone else while out on bail.  Despite what conservatives say, Trump has been granted numerous special privileges that no other criminal defendant charged with multiple felonies would get.

Anyone with the resources the Turd has would, at a minimum, be required to surrender his passport and wear an ankle bracelet. I actually think that's enough. It would be a massive taxpayer expense to keep him in the can for months. Granted, it would be nice to make him miserable, but that's balanced out by the fact that if he's free on bail, there's a good chance that he'll say or do something that digs his own hole a litle deeper.

Well, I did a little research and you're right. I thought ankle monitors and drug tests were only for home detention post-conviction. It looks like it's not very common unless the charges include murder or sex offenses, but it does happen.
