Wind power--Wyoming blows

THERE IS NO TIME WHEN THE WIND DOESN'T BLOW SOMEWHERE

This is stupid kevin's dumbest statement since he said women can play in the NBA & MLB.

But the wind has to be blowing where the wind farm is & needs to be blowing when electric demand is at it's highest.

The Germans have already found this doesn't work (see above) & the efficiency of the wind farms decline as they age.

we confirm that load factors do decline with age, at a similar rate to other rotating machinery. Wind turbines are found to lose 1.6 ± 0.2% of their output per year, with average load factors declining from 28.5% when new to 21% at age 19.

Obviously the companies who are looking to invest in these projects have realized that these projects can't be profitable.

Once the initial manufacturing and installation costs are paid, electricity is practically free.

And one would think that cpa kevin would know the enormous cost for these projects are amortized over the useful life of the farm & at that point the turbines have to be replaced at an additional cost.  So the consumer is always paying for the costs.

Those costs also apply to fossil fuel plants, and stupid Tommie-poo ignores that those plants consume fuel, which must be constantly dug up and transported to the plant sites.

The United States is far larger than Germany and has much more open space. DUHHHHH.

The United States is far larger than Germany and has much more open space

Germany's problem is that there wan't enough wind & they had to restart their gas plants

Fossil fuel plants are already up and running while the kevin gang wants to spend almost $2 trillion to build new ones.

Shell won’t build renewable projects that can’t earn initial returns of 6% to 8%, he said

At least eight multinational companies in three states have quietly started to back out of wind contracts, or ask to renegotiate deals in ways that will pass more costs to consumers. Beyond Shell (ticker: SHEL), they include BP (BP), Denmark’s Orsted (DNNGY), Norway’s Equinor (EQNR), Spain’s Iberdrola (IBDRY), Portugal’s Energias de Portugal (EDPFY), and France’s Engie (ENGIY) and state-owned Electricite de France.

How is it possible the state of Iowa powers half its electric grid with green energy despite the fact that "da wind dont always blow"?

I recall posting an article about 8 months ago about a UK wind farm, and the Liberal lies about this wind farm.  I specifically noted in my post that EVERY liberal article about EVERY wind farm address "nameplate production" as reality which is a huge lie.  Nameplate assumes wind is at maximum power 24 hours a day, and in reality wind runs at about 30% or this.  Then our resident Libs posted another half dozen articles, which proved my point.  Six more articles calling "nameplate" reality.  The fuckers all call "nameplate" reality.  It aint.

Never trust a Lyin' Liberal.

Wind power isn't political.

You're obsessed with this "nameplate" pseudo-concept. It doesn't matter if the wind generation is at maximum capacity or not.

Tell me, Boiler, when you drive your car, do you always run it at "nameplate"--with the accelerator crammed to the floor?

Do you run the lights in your house at "nameplate"--with every single one turned on, 24/7?

For that matter, does ANY fossil fueled power generation plant EVER run at "nameplate"--absolute maximum capacity?

Huh, Boiler?

You can't answer that, can you?

Never trust a lying Con.

Tom said that my statement that the wind is always blowing somewhere was a lie.

I invite the stupid fuck to post a link to one of his pseudo-arguments "showing" that time when the wind stopped blowing everywhere on earth. I'll settle for two seconds.

But he's too much of a lying chickenshit to admit when I've refuted and schooled him.

Which is a compliment to each and every one of us.

States with most green energy

The great plains states get between 1/3 and 1/2 of their electricity from those crazy liberal wind farms that dont work or something.     And growing.    And so are the high paying jobs that maintain them.    The only unnerving thing about is the fact that its another example of Democrat policy that benefits red states more than blue.  Almost seems unfair doesn't it?

Percent of electricity coming from Wind:

--------------------------------------------------

Iowa   57%

S Dakota 54%

N Dakota 34%

Kansas 46%

Nebraska 26%

Texas 23%

Colorado 27%

Oklahoma 41%

Minnesota 21%
