Randalls Island is a city park located in the northeast section of Manhattan. It is accessed by car via the RFK toll Bridge (New Yorkers still call it the Triborough) or via a bridge from Harlem. There is no train service and bus service ends around 1am. For the most part it is inaccessible.
It is one of few spots that has playing fields for football/soccer/baseball/lacrosse. Many of these playing fields have been taken away to house the illegals. Another loss for the taxpayers.
It is very windy and as a result gets pretty cold. It also floods when it rains. it is not unusual for games to be cancelled for several days after a rain storm, waiting for the fields to dry out.
In the summer due to the swift current swimming is suicide.
For most of the year, it is not a pleasant spot.
New York City will be a shithole as long as Tom lives there.
