With that tiny Congressional majority, nobody could expect the Republicans to get much done. Oh, wait!

Here's what Dark Biden has gotten done with a tiny majority or even a minority in Congress.

- Bipartisan Infrastructure bill

- CHIPS Act to bring semiconductor manufacturing back to the US.

- The Inflation Reduction Act

- Bipartisan support for Ukraine.

- The first major gun-safety law in almost 30 years.

- The American Rescue Plan (Covid-19) so that welfare queens like David Miller could leach off the government. Please don't hold that against him.

Meanwhile, the GOP, with a majority, can't elect a Speaker.

All useless stuff.

To an eyes-bugged-out babbling conservitard, perhaps.

The dozens of Republican Congressmen taking credit for the benefits in their own districts would like a word.

Of course, that's completely beside the point. I was referring to the effectiveness of President Biden's leadership vs. the ineffectiveness, or more accurately the impotence, of the Republicans in the House.

First, they couldn't maintain an insurrection, then in 2022 they had electile dysfunction, and now this. Sounds like your kind of people, Jerry.

the effectiveness of President Biden's leadership

In no particular order

1- highest inflation in 50 years

2- $2T deficit

3- spending increasing faster than inflation

4- Afghanistan

5- Inviting putin (minor incursion) to invade Ukraine; refused Ukraine's initial requests for military aid

6- American family losing $7k in purchasing power

7-6+m illegal immigrants

8-Bribes from various foreign govts via his son

9-increased govt regulations that impede productivity

10-continued covid lockdowns & illegal vaccine mandates

11-cancelling millions of acres of oil leases

12-emptying the emergency oil reserve

If you put enough in the list, you don't have to defend any one of them. I guess that's the point.

But again, regardless of which side you are on, Republicans have been incredibly impotent compared with the Biden-led Democrats. That isn't even a matter of opinion, is it?

Mp's list list contributed to inflation & the deficit.  That is not a success.

We have given $100B to Ukraine, one of the most corrupt countries with no accountability or audit.  People want to make sure the money went to where it was intended.  It is one thing to send actual military equipment; it is another to send cash or non-military aid which can disappear.

If biden was so supportive of Ukraine why didn't he send military aid prior to the invasion?  Why has he been so slow in sending tanks, planes and missiles?

Tom cries about  Ukraine aid whilst supporting the people who just defunded it.

That makes Tom an even bigger clown than Matt Gaetz.   At least donkey-faced Matt is honest about his position.

tom, let's agree to disagree about "success." We've had plenty of debates about the issues around here.

What I am referring to, and what you are apparently too cowardly to address, is the EFFECTIVENESS of President Biden vs. the impotence of the Republicans. Care to comment, anyone?

Passing bad policy is not an example of "effectiveness or success"
