I think y'all are forgetting that Dr Ford and Co. can file a suite anytime as there isn't a statute of limitations for sexual assult. Now who wants to take a bet that Ford or the other acqusers files a lawsuit?
There could be some risk for Dr Ford. I'm surprised that she hasn't filed charges already. She has a high priced legal team, why not file charges?
Sexual assault and attempted rape were misdemeanors in Maryland in the 1980s, so there would be no point as a conviction woulden't result in jail time or a felony record.
The real action is going to come when the Democrats take over the house and launch an investigation. I think they're going to be able to have an excess of 40 Witnesses they're going to be able to swear under oath that he lied in his confirmation hearing.

For what, drinking too much in high school? The man has been sworn in as a justice, if you start pulling up stuff that happened during the confirmation hearing, then every senator and congressman best be watching out for their day on the hot seat.
If lying was a reason for an "investigation" then EVERY politician would be under investigation. Find another dead horse to beat...
He is not a politician. He is a judge. There is a difference or there is supposed to be. Perhaps, you are right, he isn't a judge at all just a right-wing hack politician. Still, his lies were made under oath, not in comments to the press or a speech made on the legislative floor.
