It is inexcusable to put a guy on the court that perjured himself at his confirmation hearing and has credible allegations of sexual misconduct leveled against him. Do you think he was telling the truth about what the terms Devil's Triangle, Boofing, Ralph Club and FFFFF meant? Or that when he made that comment about that girl he was paying her a sincere non-sexual compliment? Murkowski is wavering. Another Republican Senator is going to be out of town this weekend for his daughter's wedding, so it only takes one to hold off the vote until next week.
I just love the way Mark throws the word CREDIBLE around. What do you find credible? Is it the fact that Dr Ford doesn't know when the alledged attack occurred? Or that she can't recall the year it happened? Or is the fact that she has no clue where it happened that lends crediblility to her claim? While I find her's to be a sympathetic case, CREDIBLE certainly doesn't come to mind. Perhaps Mark feels if he uses the phrase often enough, that it becomes true. It doesn't. What strikes me as credible is the assertion that the democrat party would do literally anything to stop this nomination. Before the hearing started, not a single democrat would vote to approve Kavanaugh......they would be eaten alive by their own party. And when the final vote comes, the only democrats that might vote for Kavanaugh will be doing it strictly to try to save their own butts in the coming mid-term elections. Personally, I want to see when the at risk dems vote. For example, will Manchin vote before Collins, Flake and Murkowski? Or will he weasel his way out and vote after he knows the outcome? Same for McCaskill and a few others.
I just hope that this circus foisted on us by the dems has real consequences in the mid-terms. That would add a real twist to the word JUSTICE now wouldn't it?

Collins was great today. My favortie part was her pushing what I call the "Clue" explanation of the Ford/Kavanaugh incident. Collins believes Ford was assaulted..but she just has a bad case of mistaken identity. The real offender was Colonel Mustard in the Conservatory with the lead pipe. That was Collins' "more likely than not" explanation.
At least Grassley and McConnell have enough courage to admit they dont give a shit.
