Wow! Honorable Republicans Do Exist! FBI To Investigate Kavaunaugh Claims

I am celebrating tonight. I was afraid there for a minute that Republicans weren't going to go through with putting a serial sexual assaulter and perjurer on the Supreme Court and then their base would have turned out for the midterms.  Now I am not.  For as long as Bart is on the court he is going to have an * by his name. After the midterms, Democrats will be doing a real investigation of Bart with subpoenas and witnesses. After all of Bart's secrets are laid bare, we can get a good year out of the hearings where every independent voter and Democrat will be asking themselves how did the Republicans put such an awful person on the court. 

Mark, for you and PJ you have lost again. No need to say anything more! It will “flip” again in a few years but, I am enjoying “winning” for now.

A beautiful afternoon!  A 50 / 48 kind of day.  Let the whining begin......I'll bring some cheese.

It is official. The (R) who voted "present" will not be present next election. Career over - now she will have to find a real job.

What this showed America is the democrats were willing and wanting to destroy a good man and his family because they hate Trump and want to stop everything he does, at any cost. It also further exposed the bias of the media, and the absolute insanity of the left. 

Is PJ and Mark out of town? They always seem to have answers to everything,  yet they seem silent on another loss!

Poor old DonDiego would like to thank two Democratic philosophers who helped make this confirmation possible:

__ One-time Senator Harry Reid who as Senate Majority Leader in 2013 invoked the "nuclear option" effectively lowering the number of votes needed to overcome a filibuster from 60 to a simple majority for executive appointments and most judicial nominations.  Afer this it was a simple matter to extend the new rule to Supreme Court nominees as well.

(Senator Reid was clearly unfamiliar with the famous fillibuster employed by James Stewart in the film "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" to combat corruption in the Senate.  Or more likely he was familiar with the use of the filibuster against possible corruption, . . . and so reduced its effectiveness.)

__President Barack Hussein Obama who philosophied in 2009: "Elections have consequences.  We won, you lost.  Get over it."

Whew, . . . what a deep thought !

Congratulations to Justice Kavanaugh.

Reid issued the  “nuclear option” after Republicans in the Senate decided to take the unprecedented action of blocking any and all appointments from the president...and that was later followed by the 8 month stiff arm of his Supreme Court justice that never had a hearing.  And that’s now followed by issuing two judges the current president proudly proclaims were vetted by a right wing, dark money group....the most recent of which vowed to stick it to Democrats during his appointment hearing.

and that’s how republicans roll.   And it now sets the stage for Democrats to follow those same footsteps.  And that’s now how our government will work from now on.  The majority party will try to find ways to circumvent our institutions and spirit of democracy to yield more power and fuck the other side.

I don’t expect the Supreme Court to have much legitimacy going forward and that’s a dangerous development.  But at least the Heritage Foundation got what they paid for.  Enjoy!

Well, . . . f'rinstance, . . . they are following the orders of the self-appointed Minister for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda, Maxine Waters: 

"If you see anybody from that [President Trump's] Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere." 

There are historical precedents for such ministries and such orders, . . . and the results are not generally uplifting and enlightening. 

In fact, poor old DonDiego cannot think of a Republican who is anything like Maxine Waters; she is singularly unbalanced.
