Yep, It Looks Like Team Trump Took Bribes

The bald man in the elevator is Al-Rumaihi.

Al-Rumaihi was one of several foreign investors in the BIG3 basketball league, a new 3-on-3 professional league started by rapper Ice Cube and his business partner Jeff Kwatinetz. The relationship between Al-Rumaihi, Ice Cube and Kwatinetz did not go well.

Ice Cube and Kwatinetz claim that Al-Rumaihi and the other investors did not pay them millions they were promised. In April, they sued Al-Rumaihi and others for $1.2 billion in damages.

In a declaration filed this month in related litigation, Kwatinetz claims Al-Rumaihi and others were using their investment in the league to try to gain influence over Steve Bannon, a former senior adviser to Trump who is reportedly close to Kwatinetz. According to Kwatinetz, this was part of a larger effort by Al-Rumaihi to act as an agent of Qatari intelligence.

Kwatinetz says he told Al-Rumaihi such an offer was inappropriate. Al-Rumaihi allegedly responded by calling Kwatinetz naive and bragging that former Trump adviser Michael Flynn had no problem taking his money.

Mark forgot to cut and paste this part of the article.

"It has not been conclusively proven that the bald man in the elevator is Al-Rumaihi, but it looks like him."

Nowhere in this unsubstantiated allegation is that President Trump or anybody affiliated with him took a bribe

Typical posting by Mark - half truths, guessing, he said-she said and just outright lies. He has almost as much creedence as his heros, the liars Obama and Clinton (both of them).

Looks like Tom and Doc lack reading comprehension skills. These sworn statements were in the article I linked to.

All you did was copy/paste an unsubstantiated allegation & claim it as fact

That’s just it Tom the claims weren’t unsubstantiated.  Steve Bannon’s friend signed a sworn statement under penalty of perjury in support of the claim and filed it with the court.  To summarize, that affidavit said that Ahmed Al-Rumaihi wanted to bribe Steve Bannon and bragged he had already successfully bribed Flynn.  The three photographs attached to that story and found in Michael Avenatti’s original tweet further substantiate the claim as they show that Flynn, Cohen and Ahmed Al-Rumaihi were all present at Trump Tower on December 12, 2016, during the transition.  Today, Ahmed Al-Rumaihi confirmed it was him in in the picture and that he was at Trump Tower for a meeting on 12/12/16.

Keep in mind how this new information substantiates a claim found in the Steele dossier. That Carter Page negotiated a quid pro quo between Russia and Trump. Trump was to earn a .05% "brokerage" fee for the sale of the Russian oil giant Rosneft in exchange for sanctions relief. Ahmed Al-Rumaihi’s fund bought Rosneft and there he was attending a meeting at Trump tower 48 hours after the deal closed.

Who is Steve Bannon's friend?

Jeff Kwatinetz the man who swore out the affidavit.  Reading his affidavit suggests that Kwatinetz believes that the only reason Ahmed Al-Rumaihi invested in his business was because he wanted access to Bannon and he wanted to use Kwatinetz’s business to funnel money to Bannon.  When Kwatinetz refused to participate in the scheme, Ahmed Al-Rumaihi withdrew his financial support of Kwatinetz’s business. You should read the whole affidavit it is very informative
