Imagine how all those convicted murderers and rapists in Kentucky are feeling right now. They spent oodles of money on lawyers, but those lawyers failed to get them off. Now they're finding that they could have bought a pardon for the low, low price of twenty grand. Governor Bevin could have been had very cheaply--he's the Walmart of bribery!
Republicans professed horror at all those Mexican criminals, rapists, and murderers flooding into the country but apparently have no problem with them flooding into Kentucky as the prison gates are flung wide open by Republican role model Bevin. An object lesson was given, as the two accomplices of the murderer that Bevin released for $20K didn't pay and are still rotting in prison.
