Impeachment would be futile. No matter what, not nearly enough Republipigs would vote for it for there to be any chance of success. Probably at least half of them are fed up with the Turd, but they've shown that it's a loooong way from that to openly defying or even publicly criticizing him.

Plus, I'm not at all sure that Vance would be an improvement. Is evil+smart better than evil+stupid? Not clear.

The trouble with sniper rifles is that they're single shot. Hard to take out both of them at once. Vance, seeing his boss go down, would immediately grab a kid from the audience to use as a human shield.

So how much more does Trump have to fuck up before America gets rid of him? More...much, much more. It's a painful reality to acknowledge, but the checks and balances system has failed miserably. The Founding Fathers couldn't imagine the entire legislative AND judicial branches putting party over country.
