Best Cheap Hotel Option

I have a room booked at MGM Signature Suites for June 29-July 8. I am now shopping for airfare and find that the 29th is quite a bit more expensive than the 28th. I could book the following hotels for a two night stay for less or a tiny bit more than airfare alone if I book a package. Those hotels are Orleans, Stratosphere, Harrah's, Golden Nugget, Excalibur, Monte Carlo, Bally's, and Flamingo. Having a two night stay gives us a day to sleep in, use the pool, and have somewhere for our luggage. We would probably leave that room at check in time at Signature. I could save a bit more by only booking one night but would have to check out by 11 and be homeless until check in time at Signature. Killing time in the casinos is not really an option because I will be travelling with a minor. The hotels that make it cheaper or break even for one night are the same as listed above and also includes Tropicana, MGM, NY NY, Bellagio, Mirage, and Paris. I'm not sure if I will be renting a car yet so I would like somewhere easy to get to the MGM via monorail, taxi, or Uber. What hotel do you think would have the best combination of pool, parking, and location? I should also mention that my room at the Signature Suites is not available on the 28th. Otherwise, I'd just stay there.
Hooters! But watch out for the bed bugs: Bed Bug Registry
Westgate is probably the cheapest hotel on the monorail route and they've updated their rooms.
The Monte Carlo is renovating their pool, so it may not be open. The Flamingo has an awesome pool. What about Circus Circus for the minor? An Uber from Bally's to Downtown was $9 to give you an idea of cost. There is nothing for a minor to do at Orleans. The Strat is pretty far north on the strip. Harrah's is in the thick of things but their pool is meh. Golden Nugget is downtown and is supposed to have an awesome pool. Plus, there is more to see downtown and it is easier to get around. MGM properties also charge to park, so figure that in the cost.

Last report of theme there was a year and half ago John.
I am still belly-achin about resort fees. I get the best deals thru players club at Boyd properties. I enjoy Main Street Station (no pool--but they let you access the rooftop pool at the Cal. Nothing more than water--but last time I was there I saw one person...as opposed to the 43,267 people who were at the GN pool when I went there.). I like to stay and play at Sam's Town...they treat me well there for a low-roller...and the scheduled shuttle bus is a convenient connection to both downtown and the strip.
Well, I finally had to buy airplane tickets and I decided just to pay the higher airfare. The added resort fees made it so I wouldn't break even. I really hate resort fees. I know would have gambled way more than the resort fee would have cost me but I have a hard time paying bullshit fees. I also really hate paying for shipping.
