bj trip bankroll question

my buddy and I are taking a daily trip to a local casino. we agreed to pool our resources into a $600 bankroll and a 50/50 split. since I have more of a net worth than he does, I said that if we deplete the $600 initial bankroll and I fund a new bankroll of $1000 he's not entitled to any of the winnings. he says he's entitled to 300/1600 or 19% of the winnings. any opinions?
Letting someone play, with your money, and no incentive to win seems pretty foolish. Why would he do it? Just for fun and free drinks? I'd be drinking heavily, tipping well and splitting tens when not doubling down my 12s and 13s.
I get it if you choose to split the 600 even if you both put in equal shares. If the other money is separate that should have zero to do with first deal. I have always played my own money. gets to nuts when pooling unless it is family or really good friend
