Gambling Degenerate?

I just received my win/loss statement from the casino I patronize the most. It shows the amount bought in for at the Pit over $311,000. A much lesser amount on slots, although surprisingly the slots showed a positive return. I have had a run of good luck over the last month or so. My concern is that times past where after a winning streak, I go on tilt and return all my winnings plus a substantial amount of my own bankroll to the casinos. I'm in a casino two or more times a week. I use the word Gambling degenerate not really understanding the true definition of gambling degenerate. I can testify that I truly like to gamble. I'm driving 90 miles in the morning to spend the day and maybe the night at my favorite casino. I'll let you know how I fared.

Thursday Morning, Wife and I went on our morning walk. A pleasant surprise came about when I heard a voice calling our names. Immediately hit a pit boss for a 45 dollar gas comp. Then go to VIP Host office and ask for some new Polo leisure shirts. She is glad to get the shirts for me. She's not happy seeing me wear competitor shirts. She asks me where I want to eat and puts it on my card. I head to the new 7card Pai Gow, which replaces the much loved 6 card game. Betting hundred on the main and 30 on the insurance and bonus playing two hands. In 30 minutes I'm up five hundred. Take my $235 in freeplay to my favorite slots and cash out for $171. Go eat and go to he Neptune slots slip two hundred in with my wife's card. Cash out for 532 dollars. Go back to Pai Gow and lose around two grand Go to hotel to get room. They have to call VIP services because rooms are all full. I'm given a King smoking. I don't smoke, Beggars can't be choosers and it's free. Return to Pai Gow and play until five in the morning, Down another $1,500. Sleep for 3 hours. Make coffee in the room. Go back to Pai Gow, win five hundred. Go to Lunch. Returning to Pai Gow, play until 4 pm. My net loss $1,100. My wife's card grew by 221 pts. My card grew by over 11,000 pts. Plus $45 in gas. 3 shirts $155,two agreeable meals $40. one room $129. I did what I like to do. I love getting free stuff. I'm living the dream.
