Las Vegas Club on Fremont - Update

Have there been any updates to the Stevens brothers plan to revitalize the Las Vegas Club to Mermaids space on Fremont? There is nothing notable on the internet since April 2016. I'm guessing that they are waiting until the Golden Gate expansion is complete. Speaking of the Golden Gate, is it complete? And did they replace Dupars with another eatery?

Was down there 2 weeks ago, and there was nothing but heavy demo equipment in the space where LVC and mermaids used to be. Big privacy fence. A food wagon on the corner in place of Mermaids. Didn't notice any renovation at Golden Gate, but didn't go in there, either. I guess I was rather devastated at what is becoming of Fremont St, and didn't notice much. MSS is still the same minus the outside train cars. Still good VP there. Was sadly disappointed with Fremont this trip. No clues about plans to rebuild on old LVC site on my end.
