Mac King Tickets

Harrahs is no longer handing out coupons for free Mac King tickets (with purchase of a drink). Instead they are handing out coupons for VIP tickets for the price of a regular ticket which just gets you seating in the front section (readily available anyway) and I believe a "free drink." In any case it costs over $40 to see Mac King if you purchase tickets with the Harrahs coupon. The partial solution is to go next door to the 1/2 price ticket outlet, but is is still going to cost you $25 to $30 bucks to see Mac King.
Even with the coupon in the MRB, it runs over $20 a person. You do get a drink but its no bargain. I noticed the show is a few minutes shorter, as well. Loved the bear.
Bill, have you seen the new Guinea Pig trick? I think I like it more than the bear. I love Mac King - probably seen it more than twenty times because anytime I am in Las Vegas with someone who hasn't seen Mac King I insist on taking them. With the "free" tickets it only cost a little over $10 to see the show so I didn't mind seeing it over and over. Besides it is a little different each time and once in a great while he will add something new like the guinea pig trick. It is well worth the $20 to $30 price to see him now with the MRB coupon or the 1/2 price ticket outlet tickets if you have never seen him, but I think I will start sending newbies to the show without me.
Yes, I saw it. Was fun. The same week I won free tickets to Penn and Teller. Was very impressed with it. I love Mac King, it's just not much of a bargain these days.

No bargain. Assuming LVA is on top of these things like they are supposed to be, I expect Mac King to disappear from the Top Ten values list.
Nope. Still listed as a Top Ten.
Vegasnow - will the coupon from the LVA book work? Or are you saying that Harrah's no longer accepts the LVA coupon? What is MRB coupon? Thanks!
I have coupons for the free ticket that I didn't get around to using on my January trip, I wonder if they are still honoring them?
LVA coupon (MRB coupon) still works, it is just that Harrahs doesn't appear to be handing out the coupon for two free show tickets with purchase of 2 drinks ($10.95 each), as they have been doing for as long as I can remember. If you have an old Harrah's coupon, check the expiration.
