marijuana in public

I understand that public smoking of marijuana is prohibited in Las Vegas. I have two questions: 1) Are there currently any planned/established smoking lounges or other private smoking areas that aren't private residences? 2) How strictly are the police and/or casino security enforcing the public smoking ban? I read a lot of comments about the pervasive aroma of marijuana smoke in parking garages. Anybody know how casino security is reacting? Call the cops, ignore it, or something in between? Thanks for any and all replies.
When I was recently at Harrahs in Laughlin I noticed a small sign at the entrance doors that read something like "The use or possession of marijuana is prohibited by federal law and company policy". I wrote and asked "Have I just not noticed this sign before or was it recently posted because of the change in Nevada law concerning recreational use of marijuana? Will this be the policy at all properties, including those outside of Nevada?" The response was very quick "Despite recent changes in Nevada state law, Caesars Entertainment does not allow the use of marijuana, medical or recreational, anywhere on our affiliated properties. Marijuana is a controlled substance, and its use and possession remain prohibited under federal law." I don't think any casino would want to just turn their head and ignore anyone that was observed by security.
I've heard second hand stories of security at Harrahs and The Plaza banging on doors responding to smoke complaints in the last few weeks. Casinos don't want to mess with the Feds on this.
