DonDiego remains comfortably ensconced on Tomato Ranch Ridge somewhere in Appalachia.
Spring arrived early this year, so teechur and DonDiego are already enjoying squash and hot peppers, . . . and there'll be tomatoes well before the 4th-of-July.
Apparently the mild Winter was kind to the critters hereabouts too. Lots of birds visiting the feeders, even the relatively rare red-headed woodpecker. And almost daily visits by turkeys beneath the feeders. Lots of bunny rabbits eatin' the lawn too.
teechur and DonDiego still travel some, . . . lots of visits with the three-soon-to-be-four grandkids
And they pursue their goal of attending an NFL game in every teams' stadium. The only teams not visited are now Minneapolis and New England; plans are to attend the Saints-at-Vikings to open the Season. Unfortunately some teams have moved or erected new stadiums since teechur and DonDiego visited, so the effort to visit every stadium may be a never-ending quest.
Oh, . . . and plans include a trip out-west to visit the Black Hills, which teechur has never seen, and then observe the Solar-Eclipse-of-2017 in Western Nebraska. Why Nebraska? Because there were no rooms available in DonDiego's first choice of Casper, Wyoming several months ago. This is really gonna be the biggest party ever, . . . nationwide!
A total eclipse of the Sun is truly an awe-inspiring event; DonDiego encourages everyone to place themselves within the path-of-totality on 21 August. It extends from the Pacific Coast of Oregon to the Atlantic Coast near Charleston, SC. So, . . . GO ! ! !
How 'bout that election ! ! ! Is forkush still in hiding?
Anyway, . . . DonDiego says: "Hello !" to all the old-timers at LVA.
